SAMPA-IPA equivalences

The RPD uses the Speech Assessment Methods Phonetic Alphabet (SAMPA). This is a computer readable phonetic alphabet that uses only ASCII characters. Users not familiar with this system can find a table of equivalences with the International Phonetic Alphabet in [SAMPA.pdf].
